Taft High School is proud to recognize Aaliyah Dean and Charles Knox as our October Student-Athletes of the Month!

These two Senators have excelled both in the classroom and in competition, representing what it truly means to Stand on Business. Their hard work, leadership, and dedication continue to raise the standard for Taft Athletics.

Aaliyah Dean – High School Recipient
Aaliyah has shown exceptional dedication and perseverance this month. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to improvement make her a standout student-athlete. Whether in the classroom or during practice, Aaliyah leads by example and encourages those around her to bring their best every day. She continues to represent Taft with pride, demonstrating excellence on and off the field.

Charles Knox - Junior High Recipient
Charles has consistently displayed discipline, focus, and determination. His drive to compete at a high level and his commitment to his academics reflect the values of Taft High School. Charles leads with quiet confidence, setting a tone of hard work and accountability that inspires his teammates and classmates alike. His efforts embody what it means to uphold The Standard at Taft.
